Hello again unwelcome clarity
Walking through my forgotten unlocked door
Demanding acknowledgement while pouring her coffee
Black
Dragging yesterdays dirt across the carpet
Feet up on the table
Smiling that devils smile
While I clean up the mess she made
Stains
And scars that refuse to be scrubbed clean
Alcohol to cleanse the wounds
Only to find it laced with the poison of her memories
Leaving
But never the way she came in
Always through another hole
Torn through the crumbling walls of this old heart
And when the dust settles Im still standing in this room
Empty
